NEW INFO THIS YEAR!!!  PLEASE READ!!

CHAPERONE MEETING:  In an effort to increase the safety of our children and the efficiency of our event, all LEBANON CHAPERONES will be required to attend a chaperone meeting. This meeting will be Dec. 16th, 2008 at 2 pm at Four Seasons Bus Company (Babb Drive, across from the Emergency Room entrance of UMC Hospital).

BUS ASSIGNMENT:  At that time, you'll be assigned to a bus & school for the entire day. Once you are assigned to your bus, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SWITCH BUSES AT ANY TIME.

PICK UP THE CHILDREN: You will be going to either Sam Houston, Byars Dowdy, Southside. We will be picking up approx. 20 children from each school.

Once the children have been picked up & assigned to a bus, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SWITCH BUSES (Even if the buses in question are going to the same school).
This is extremely important in the event of an emergency whether it involves a child or a chaperone. We have 500 people to keep safe and secure, and it is important that everyone
remains on the bus they were assigned to.

HEADING TO HENDERSONVILLE:  At approx. 3:00pm, you on your buses will pick up your children from your assigned school, bringing them to the church in Hendersonville for an early dinner & Christmas Party with Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus.  Then we will reload our children back onto the buses and head off to Wal-mart for the shopping spree.

SHOPPING SPREE: You will be shopping with one of the children from your bus. The remaining children will be placed with a Shopping Chaperone that will be waiting for us at Wal-mart. 

BACK HOME: After all the children on your bus have shopped and been returned to your bus, your driver will bring the children back to their respective school. Once the children have been picked up by their parents, your drivers will bring you back to Four Seasons Bus Company to your cars. 

If you are signing up to be a Lebanon Chaperone,
you must be ready, willing, & ABLE to shop with a child & be available to spend the entire day with us until each child has been returned safely to their parents.
